Do you guys use in together in a squad?

Because in my nearly 200 hours of SF I've never seen people actually work and move together.
How many times did I wish I had a grappling hook as a sniper but every class which has one just runs assaulting into tank fire.
A sniper and an assaulter can be the ultimate team in SF,if compromised there's a lot of firepower coming from the assault rifle and they can basically reach every spot on the map when combining the hook and zipline.
Zip-line use is really frequently seen, but nobody uses the hook, which is an excellent tool, you can reach places you could normally only reach by helicopter and you can even throw it down from somewhere(just rightclick shortly) to help your buddies up.
In my opinion the grappling hook is well underrated and should be used a lot more to pep up the game again.

Add comments,please.

Hell yeah! It works slick as hell when your squad is working together with the Zip and Grapple.  My friends and I especially enjoy employing them at the palace on Warload.  Take the outer walls, and throw the grapple to the rooftop level.  Plant your sniper(squad leader) and a support guy up on the roof, and cover fire into the opposite wing, while the rest of your crew use the roof to get over there and drop in.

Funny that the same amount of people that voted for "Yes", voted for "I like pie."

Anyway, i would like to combine them but i can hardly find any squad to do this with!

yeah i considered putting I like pie.  but I'm the lone "no."  Reason being: I've found in my 12 or so hours of Special Forces that squads don't really work together as efficiently as they do in ordinary BF2.

I've done this with a friend in a two man squad, its especially good on night maps, you have more cover to spend that time watching your mate throwing the grapple like a limp writsted girl and miss the rooftop repeatedly. Plus when you get up on a roof you are less likely to be spotted.

Grapple is excellent for attacking warlord flags, palace you can grapple onto roof on the west side where there are never any enemy, move over roof and drop onto balcony, capping the more powerful point in the palace. You can also grapple onto the flag platform at the tower, saves getting blown up or shot by people camping the stairs.

pie..... hmmm i like.

if I'm in a good squad or playing with friends, we will select kits to support each other, and grappling hook/zip lines comes into consideration when trying to assault. especially the palace and commander bunker. But then also allot of the time i don't see a use for either tool, as all i do is fight on the ground.

I see these tools more used for 'camping' (not exclusively as they are good to flank and come from different directions) because every flag is easily accessible by multiple directions without the aid of GH or ZL, so they are used more to get to obscure 'camping' areas.

The other day I was playing sniper on Warlord.  I found myself on the tall building overlooking both the security office and hideout.  I had 2 squad mates spawn on me so I shot the zip down to the little bldg where you can take the security office flag.  They zipped and I covered them while the flag was being taken.  Once it was neutral I zipped down and capped it with them.

The grapple/zip combo can be very effective in a good squad.  Problem is, you don't see that very often.  However, when you do, the game takes on a whole new light.

Edit:  And yes I do like Strawberry Rhubarb pie!!!!!!!
