Your PC is not running Windows XP operating system, so it cannot support the EA downloader application. The EA downloader is necessary to deliver your game. If you have already purchased this game on another PC, your copy is still valid on any PC running Windows XP, but it cannot be downloaded to this particular PC

EA downloader runs just fine on Server 2003
BF2 and BF2:SF run just fine on Server 2003, properly configured..

Much easier to configure Server2003 as a workstation, compared to the flaming hoops one has to go through to make WindowsXP a semi-secure primary PC on the internet.
