it's possible, but not certain. the amount of ram doesn't always mean a whole lot (ie - jump from 128/256, 256/512).

hands down...

GTX is the fastest of the lot. GT is underclocked, nothing fancy.

7900gt can overclock to 550mhz core, 1540 mem... compared to 7800gtx's max of 490 core, 1300 mem MAX. thats what i got out of mine... and the 7900gt is a LOT cheaper

Well I have the evga 7900gt signature series which comes overclocked at 600/1600 and it was just 369. very pleased so far for the price/performance.
