Who else is hopelessly addicted to this TV show? I just love it, but hate it at the same time because it always ends the episodes with the best cliff hangers. Maybe they should open a clinic for Lost addicts, next to that internet one.
Amen.
My gf watches that show all the time. I watch it w/ her every now and then. I think they just make it up as they go along, because one minute I seem to think I know what is going on and the next I have no clue. I need to borrow the first season on DVD so that I can watch all the episodes...
I love lost =P

L O S T...
I'll admit that I watch it pretty regularly. Last season got better and better. One thing though... to be honest, I wouldn't care if they cut out the flash breaks to before the crash. I just like the plot line of surviving on the island. And after last week, I have another reason to hate Michelle Rodrigez lol. Anyway, I sure as hell ain't gonna watch that woman president crap with Gena Davis. I can't stand her.
so the question is what killed the other planecrash survivors? "the sickness" or "the others"
i personally think it´s something in between

I think it's the sickness. The remaining survivors from the back of the plane better go join up iwth the big group, from the front of the plane, or they're going to die.
Didn't the black woman kill herself early in season 1? I was confused as to why she showed up again all of a sudden...
yeah i was wondering that last night, i thought she died or something.CMDR_Dave wrote:

I don't remember that she killed herself. Frankly last night's episode left us in the same place where it started. I.e. we learned nothing. Looks like next week, Michael and Jin have their first run in with the "others." And they're setting it up so that Sawyer hooks up with that new girl which I think sucks. I wanted to see him kick her ass. As for the other people from the crash, I definitely think it was the sickness although canabalism did occur to me.
I don't watch it at all. Maybe i would, if I hadn't missed out on the first episodes, but now it's no use.
I don't think cannibalism is feasable since they've only been there about 40 days. Surely they would have found food and water somewhere like the first group has. Maybe this sickness thing is it...who knows. I am curious what kind of structure these new people have found. And as for the "button" on the old computer...it's probably some kind of electromagnetic pulse to deactivate something else and won't harm anyone at all! I wish they'd tell us something next episode. It seems like we haven't seen but about 10 minutes of actual new footage since the start of season two!
alls i have to say is... that shower scene with kate = hot.
kate is hot period. btw, who wants to fill me in on what happened this past wed. i missed it *teary-eyed. i agree dave, a lot of beating around the bush to show nothing. *in a whining voice*i wanna know stuff... as for the canabalism idea...maybe they're real stoopead. yeah i think it's an emp too. that is what i said when his key first started lifting up drawn to it, but now its like they're setting it up to be a nuke reactor or something.
You missed a lot of "nothing", "again"...an hour of us trying to find out anything and we are left hanging again till next week. Michael went off on his own to look for Walt, leaving the "others" they just met. Yin went after him along with one of the "others", the big mean looking guy. They searched for awhile and came to a spot where they hid, the other "others" came walking by very quitely. I counted 13 of them, all barefoot and very dirty too. They then caught up with Michael who didn't want them to come with him. But they did anyway. This was about the most excitement of the show. Sawyer continues with the first "others" through the island to where he came from presumably. These new people don't seem real friendly, you'd think they'd want to join up with the other people from the plane crash. Oh yeah, Sun lost her wedding ring and spent the whole episode looking for it. Found it with the bottle of messages, with Kate. She told her about burying it. Until next week...L O S T
I dont think the other crashed people classify as 'the others'.CMDR_Dave wrote:

I know, why havent they joined up with the crash survivors from the front of the plane? The front of plane survivors are a lot better off.CMDR_Dave wrote:

I watch the show with chuy weekly, part of my "selected television watching" that we get from bittorrent so as to watch at our own leisure.
As for the little discussion about who/what killed off most of the "back of the plane" people I think it is pretty obvious that it was "the others" since we saw that guy out in the jungle who was impaled and the resourcefull black guy (can't recall his name...) said it was someone else who survived the crash with the "back of the plane" people.

Christ on a rubber crutch, I am hopeless with this show. I bought the DVD first season and finished it in 3 days.
Now I am jonesing for the second season really bad. Too bad I've missed too much of this season to start watching now.

You haven't misssed too much. Barely anything has happened, and you can buy episodes from iTunes if you want.Burning_Monkey wrote:

You never really think you miss that much, but when you sit and watch the whole session on DVD, you'd be suprised what gets packed into a single episode. I'm going to release the ban on network tv just to watch this if my work hours permit it.Homeschtar wrote:

Hey Burning Monkey, for the next three weeks they're showing reruns, starting tonight, so now's your chance to catch up. I hope I didn't post this too late. It's 8 here, but you may have missed the rerun already if you're in a different time zone.
Having watched it on TV, the ban is back in full force. I will just have to wait until the Season 2 comes out on DVD. Wide screen, no commercials, and commentary has me spoiled so badly. Especially the wide screen and no commercials.Homeschtar wrote:
