Deffen, if you were already promoted to Master Sergeant before getting whatever badges you needed for First Sergeant, you're not going to get the promotion--at least not how the game works right now.

You see, the idea is to have the badges before you hit the score requirement.

I do. According to this thread http://forums.bf2s.com/viewtopic.php?id=2633 , if you were already over 20.000 points when you installed the patch, you will never be able to get First Sergeant.

Same problem for me. I'm just biding my time though. I don't really care at the moment that I'm a Lance Corporal Sergant. Regarding the Airbourne ribbon - I'm pretty sure it is consecutive seconds for this one. but if this is so, then is it 10 consecutive minutes in transport for the transport badge, or 15 consecutive minutes in a helicopter for the helicopter badge. I'm sure I've achived both of these, but, y'know, whatever.

AHH it pisses me off when it doesnt record my stats from some games (and i always play in official EA servers) really it annoyes me... i got the anti tank badge and i was happy coz i really am not that good as anti tank.. i hate the smg and i keep having to play as it to get that award. why cant they just make the stats and promotions work properly for fuck sake
