Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
looks like a problem with your shaders etc.
try installing ur latest drivers, or re-installing battlefield.
try also a different game, to see what the effects are, try making it a high demanding game also.
looks pretty bad lol
what is ur graphics card?

But I think it just happened by chance. It is all good now. But this really should NOT happen. I need to upgrade my PC

White guns look pretty cool, if only there was a way to customise weapons like that.
Mate, think YOU got GFX problems?
Check this out.
I think my card needs to go in the bin...

Could be possible driver or hardware issue too.
It isn't drawing the textures to the gun, is BF2 the only game that displays this problem?

I get that after about 1hr EVERY time I log in, so be grateful. But on the other hand I love it, it shows me the centre of the screen for unscoped sniper riflesCerberus666 wrote:

If anyone knows what the hell is wrong, or is having the same problem I'd be really grateful of you could tell me
this is how u fix it cerberus. I had the exact same problem and i finally found a solution.
Here are the steps to fix it.
1. right click ur desktop and click on properties.
2.then click the settings tab.
In the settings tab it should say advanced at the bottom click on that
3. go to the troubleshoot tab at the top. Ok it now should say Enable write combining on the bottom. You need to UNCHECK the box .
You might have to restart after this. Some graphics cards are different so i dont know if this would work
Hopefully this will help.

Happened to me in another game (SWRC), its shaders. Make sure you have the newest shader for your card (for ATI I think its 6.7b).EvilMonkeySlayer wrote:

Video card overheating?
Yeh the same thing happens in Far Cry but CS:S is fine. Its only the games that have 'testing' (well for my card anyway) GFX. Thanks sniped but im at school at the moment so i'll try that solution when i get home.
Im gonna get a laptop in July anyway so if it's still broken well i cn just play CSS.
Funny thing is the laptop's gonna b more powerful then my current desktop
Laptop:
3.4Ghz Pentium 4
2GB DDR3 533mhz RAM
100GB HDD
Radeon X800XT 256MB card
Desktop:
3.06Ghz Pentium 4
1GB DDR 133mhz RAM
80GB HDD
9700 pro 128MB
w00t!

As others have stated it is most likely a shader issue, Check out www.guru3d.com they have a huge driver database for all makes of GFX cards and mobo drivers. I just got forceware 87.25 version drivers, best set yet (scored 6100s on 3dmark 06). Also check out their video tweaker utilities, there is one called ATuner which works for both NVidia and ATI which is really good. Best part I like is that it applies the settings without having to run in the background and I can still use coolbits at the same time 8)
Your all fuckign ungrateful homos, I tell ya. One little white gun and he has a teary. You can still aim through your gun can't you? You can still notice the house across the road is a house and not something a 7 year old kid made in Kidpix. Cerberus666 I'm with you man, same problems. Sucks all shit doesn't it.
Yeh lol thanks, Karma to you when im allowed - not enough posts yet though...
Givenup one the 9700 now. Tried everything, overclocking, underclocking, new drivers, old drivers, always the same problem...unckecked the write combining, minimum hardware accelleration? - still screwed up.
Its not only BF2 but Far cry, CSS, homeworld and even HALO - all on minimum detail!
Well f*** that im gonna buy the X1300 512Mb AGP card instead...

you are not suppose to mess with the hardware acceleration
I only messed with it after nothing else worked....
that was pretty sweet, it looked like a paintball gun....i think it was a Brass Eagle Stingray that they came out with a clear/white plastic colored one lol. A kid i knew had one, damn he stuck out really bad when we would be paintballing in the woods. I guess atleast when it jacked up like that, it made it easier to see people on the other team lol
refer here - i got this from another post todayCerberus666 wrote:
