As I said these were pulled from an early revision of the 1.3 patch used for beta testing of the armored fury booster pack. There may have been changes made to all of the awards criteria I posted but you can expect ALL of those changes to be made.
Were you curious how EA was just going to promote 20 people to general a month? Probably not!
Apparently the people at bf2rankedservers would know if the information was true or false however they're tied to the whole "I cant tell you shit" agreement with EA. I am not.

You will never lose a medal or a badge, or a ribbon due to a stats update because you already have it. You wont lose anything, same with getting your stats wiped for padding. Anyone that has been stat swapped for padding keeps their rank, keeps their medals, and anything else triggered by meeting an in game requirement.niekjejeje wrote:

Well he is the one who made this website, its as simple as changing a few fields in his PHP scripts. I dont know why he hasnt done it already for most, it seems he's just implementing so much stuff he hasnt gotten around to clearing up half of the old stuff that needs cleaning. Like the european service ribbon thats going to be deleted.

Besides taking away the round requirements for knife (pssh, 18 isn't THAT hard, got it in one try, amazingly enough) I think this is all quite rational, after the 1.2 patch Expert Explosives was a bitch.
the WCR seems unlikely because there's no reason to both have time requirements and point requirements, because they are directly related. You play commander, you get points. The only difference is you get twice the points if you're a good commander. And if one criteria is unlikely, it probably means none of this is going to happen and that guy just made it up in hopefulness.
Interesting how they're keeping the expert time in armor at 400 hrs but lowering the medal to 100 hours... no offense to the OP but I smell BS.
Edit: and why set the marksman badge down to 400 hours when you need to have played at least 700 hours for every expert kit badge... DUH...

Lowered time from 1800000 (500h) to 720000 (200h)
Removed In round time 2040 (they snuck that in there with 1.2x) ...
About the knife, I think they should lower the IAR requirements for expert and raise it for vet. Removing them seems a little strange. When I read this I thought that I could get the WCR. Then I read 25000 command points. I don't even have 25000 Global points yet. lol. Better start commanding...

as far as the WCR as I stated the award was originally intended as an award for commanders. But it largely seems dependent on your sucess as a soldier and a team player with the 3.1 w/l ratio. Impossible imo to get that award commanding only as the battle can go either way. I would have a total of 2000 wins I would have to get with no losses to get a 3.1 w/l ratio.
Most people dont even have more than 10k in commander points that have the WCR the only people who have remotely over 10k over commander points are the person hoping for x2's after every round and actually getting a lot of them, or the people who did a great job of commanding and team playing while working towards distinguished service.
If anyone has more than one distinguished service medal they're definately a great team player because 200 hours of commanding is quite boring imo.
