Does anyone know where I can find defragmentation reports in 2000 Professional?  I set up autodefrag.exe to run in the scheduled tasks, and I want to see a report of it when I go back in to work, just to see if it worked OK.  I couldn't find anything about this in my textbooks.

My advice is that you find yourself a copy of Diskeeper.  It's made by the company that also makes the default windows defragger, but it's a standalone product that's far better.

Yea, couldn't find it there.  Anyway, I discovered that if you go to Start, Control Panel, Scheduled Tasks, and then click on the task you created, it displays some information on the left about the last time the task ran.  So, problem solved.  Thanks anyway.

Skratch-x,

Thx for reply, but I'm a lowly slave at work still, so I can't install any new stuff.

Ah sorry dude.  I forgot to mention:  Diskeeper can schedule automatic defrags, and has the option to display summaries after.  Which seems to be exactly what you want.  Sucks that you can't use it though ;/
