http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3 … odelmenu=1 this mobo has been confirmed in a tech magazine in taiwan that it does support intels up coming cpu conroe, at last a good conroe mobo! btw i will buy this on saturday

Ummm... It runs ATi Crossfire... All Crossfire boards support Conroe... Just SLI doesn't...

no, thats the only board besides the badaxe that supports conroe, not even current 975x boards support conroe since they need the new voltage regulators... and no modding the board wont work

i think you shoulda waited... till conroe came out and for dfi to bring their board out.

well i got the board today, its great. i will have to sumhow get some conroes, take pics with the board but this board does officially support conroe, doesnt say on any website, but it does on a local taiwanese tech magazine. overclocks great this board

i bet it can handle 300fsb, but i do not want to fry a 300 buck board im doing easy OC coz i have a p4 press hot, doing 220mhz fsb, x15 multiplier = 3.3 ghz, ram from 800mhz to 880 mhz very stable now, did some stress test (sp2004) no errors.

if i sumhow get an early version of conroe... i will post it ONLY on this forum and copyright it , i will post pics, and how well it overclocks, no benchies since its too risky. im just testing if the board can actually run it. i think i might get conroe in mid june... coz u know, everything releases early in taiwan peace out
