i used search, but i found nothing relevent... or however you type that...

When i enable voip for a big level like karkand (lots of buildings, in wake i dont have it) i get huge lag. i know its hardware lag.

sometime someone of my clan told me that i need a soundcard to fix that, i got settings on medium for sound.
in wake i get it a bit, but nothing that bothers me.
i got a onboard soundcard, and i use a  logitec usb headset (i thought it wasent usb when i orderd it).

so the question: would more ram fix it? i personely think it wont make much difference, i got 1gb now. or should i buy a soundcard, and if its option b, is one of <50 euro good enough? (then ill still buy more ram)

Sound lag? I have a rubbish computer and I don't get any sound problems. I don't even have a proper sound card. Change your sound settings to low. Thats what mine are on and its ok.

I get your exact same problem though with graphics. Fine on open levels like wake but terrible on city maps and diabolical on SF.

Um..never you might want to turn down ur sound options first, cuz on my account the is on medium I think and it works good and when I turn it too high on my dads account (on the same computer, I sometimes play for him) it laggs all, so first I would suggest turn down the sound thing and if it stills happens then u should by a new graphics card, I got a Soundblast live 24 bit.. only about 30 euro's and works fine

if u want to have a future proof sound card, get an XFi card. yeah getting extra ram would fix it as well... i say get an extra GB of ram then think about getting a sound card

well, i got my sound settings the way it is cause otherwise i dont like the sound of planes.... and im in them alot lately. i putted the settings lower and it works but im scared of entering a plane now (olso changed eax thing, or w/e its called)

anyway thanks for awnsering (all out of karma already )
