Why is that against the ROE ? I try to repair ? But I think EA removed that. I tried to
repair an APC which fell to one side. It didn't become better and I didn't get any reapir point.

Because the ROE states the repairing selfinflicted damage is the same as statpadding and statpadding will get your account reset.

Expert repair is not as difficult as it may seem, work hard and you will get closer and closer and at last you get it, but as stated earlier the conditions have to be right and a dedicated specop from the other team helps :-)

Read the wiki-guide on usage of the engineer-kit and there`s a swell feature with more indept info on being an engineer.

Just as easy as you are sitting there repairing EA will reset your stats for being a statpadder and breaking the ROE.

Veteran Repair took me a while to get so I'm not looking forward to Expert after I hit 100hrs. The right conditions have been reported here. You need enough *time* to get 25 repair points. Large servers with low number of players will give you that time. Unless of course one team is alot better than the other. Then the tickets will just bleed off leaving you grumbling.

I got my Vet Repair after quite a few attempts. I just wasn't picking the right servers. Now I see that 10 isn't too bad. But I still think 25 is unnecessarily high. I found a decent Mashtuur City round by accident. I managed to get into really good Blackhawk team. The pilot & gunners were support/medic. I was the engineer and the other two were specops. We spent the whole round flying over the map taking hits and dropping C4 with me earning about 13 repair points and at least 50-60 kill assists. Those specops were just brutal with that shit! Sure we got shot down many times but we stuck together and won the round by supporting the ground troops and fast-capping flags by bailing out as a squad. That was one of my best teamwork experiences in this game yet. And it was all spontaneous. I have been watching for those guys and I haven't seen any of them play together since.

Vet was easy compared to what you have to go through for expert! It's all about capitalizing on the right opportunity. Read the wiki, check out the forum post that was referenced above, and start server hopping to find the right one for the job. I'm not really looking forward to 100 hrs. I know that I'm gonna have to try for expert but it's gonna be a tought road ahead.

My best repair streak was 31 IAR, and my total # of repairs is at around 1250+. I like being an engineer.

Login into a 16 players server runing 64 players map.
fix fix fix !

I was the gunner in a Tank for about 22 minutes straight. Earned about 12, and after that runing from dammaged vehicle to another, and was lucky because the enemy kept C4ing the assets.

once you get the vet badge, 10 repair pts iar becomes a lot easier. I've got 17 and that was doing pretty much nothing but repairing on a warlord server. keep at it. I know I will get it soon enough. I play regularly with one guy who already has his expert repair badge. He told me pretty much the same thing that has been stated above. The guy has expert in quite a few of the combat badges including knife and pistol. He's one guy I hate playing against. He's that good. He's in england and regularly kicks my butt on a state side server if we are on opposite teams.

Its rather like any badge, you have to pick the correct server and scenario. I got my vet as mec on Kubra by playing lone wolf and hiding in the bushes around the airfield. Once it`s taken by US thier guys are forever blowing up you teams assets-10 repairs like this was relatively easy. For the expert i looked for and found a large and relatively empty server on Dragon Valley hopped in the jump seat of the mobile AA and got wrenching as the gunners bitch,Die? Respawn on him, i chose the AA because it repairs a lot quicker than other armour and assets thus a point a pop, again i got there with time to spare ! It was a great game with lots of flag capping and i had the added fun of crawling under vacant vehicles in the bases and placing a mine...Flag gets retaken...in they jump...BOOM !!!! Much laughter from me and teammate in the AA, Anyway as i say all these badges are gettable you just have to give it some thought. Hope this helps dude, good luck.

I'm really happy now. Yesterday I managed to get the Veteran Engineer Badge. I tried for weeks to get this 10 repair points IAR. I played many rounds getting 7-9 repair points - very frustrating. I got it on Operation Smoke Screen (64 map - with 32 players). I was the MEC commander and repaired the UAV trailer and one artillery over and over again - and finally got this badge. Thank you European spec-ops !
