I have been trying to get my First Aid and Engineer Badges, but could someone tell me exactly what is need to get 5 Heal points? How many times do I need to revive someone? And, how much repair work is needed.
you need to heal someone. you know the med-bags you can throw on the ground? every time someone picks up one of those it = one heal point.TAW_Zeus wrote:

engineer points you get wheneenver you repair someone's vehicle... it goes by HP and equates to about 100% of a tank's health... so just go around repairing stuff and youll get it eventually
Just to make sure, you don't get heal points when someone passes over the medbag like ammo-bags do give you one point each time someone goes over it, even if he has spent only one clip.
1 Healing Point = 100% health healed (from 1-bar-left to full)
1 Repair Point = 100% repaired, although you don't get one for repairing a flaming jeep, i suppose.

yes indeed.. however its not done by 100%s.. if the player is hurt more than 50% then you get a pointGuruz wrote:

There are alot of dumb people that play half dead people and armor that just drive off to die... especially people when you throw heal packs you yell get healing here and they just keep running off? why.. so i find it best to be at the front line and throw them down people are more likley to get healed then...
as for repair this would be the hardest no points for repairing an empty tank! even if its yours!.
i find alot of people want too team play with tank drivers now where they gunner and jump out and repair during a tank fight.
I dont know how effective that is but worth a shot

Map starts. One guy gets hits by a sniper (M95). I throw a med pack at him, he heals fully. No healing point.
Tested 246 times.
But then when I heal another one who has just 2 bars damage, I get the heal point (100% health healing finally)
500% Health healed equals 5 heal points.
The damg that each infantry has is a certain percentage of their total health.
All the damg %'s you heal need to add to 100% to get 1 Heal Point.
Do this 5 times and you have 5 heal points and your Medic Support Badge.

Don't forget that you can repair your team's artillery, radar and command center.
That's how I got my Basic Engineer. And it will make the Commander happy, too

the expert first aid badge is a bitch.... 25 is huge!
I tried to get the 25, only reached 17 or something. The expert resupply is SO easy, the only difficulty is getting the time.
Well thats good to know! What about the UAV trailor? Hell if it isnt blown to hell and take a while to start to repair the damn thing You dont get a repair point for it.beeng wrote:

I just cant get enough repair pionts...heal on then other hand is another thing.
I hate to say this, but I have the Expert First Aid Badge.
But respect for the people who have Expert Medic Combat, soon I have the hours needed but I recon that the 40 kills aren't so easy..
What did you whore with to get yours?

ineresting... maybe it works both ways; caus i know ive healed like 3 guys in a row who still had 4 or 5 barsof health left but were clearly in dire need of it (you can see their health bar above their head)Guruz wrote:

Just a good thing to point out while on the subject...
1) check the area before you revive. It sucks to be in an alleyway in Karkand, with an APC or tank aiming down it, to die and then be revived, just to be killed again before I can even stand up. Then a few seconds later, another medic revives, and we both die again. Be nice to have a button that will just let you die, so you can't be revived.
2) be careful with ammo and med bags... the enemy can see (and use) them just as well as you can. It's the seeing that's the problem. In fact... I got a kill just last night that I would've walked right on by, if a medic had not spammed out a bunch of heal bags for 'em. Got a kill, and got some healin' before I reached the next CP.

A bit off subject, but if you don't want to be revived, open your spawn screen as soon as you die. The medics can't revive when you have it open. A bit annoying for them, but good for you I guess.
I revived 20+ people just a few hours ago and didnt get my veteran first aid badge. Am i assuming you need to heal, and not revive ?

Yes. It's pretty obvious, isn't it? First aid badge..."First aid! Here! Get first aid! Here!" The medic doesn't yell that when he's reviving someone...Aruba-Prime wrote:

Thanks to everyone for the info. Now, how are Command points earned? Is it only if someone uses the Supply drops?
No, command points are how many points you have at the end of the round as a commander. Also, they are only the points you earned AS a commander, so, some examples.TAW_Zeus wrote:

Say your team wins and you had 50 points before 2X. You get 100 commander points.
If you lose, and you have 50 points, you only get 50 points of course.
If you had 24 points, then take commander after someone leaves and you end the round with 50 points, you will 2X the points you got as commander, so you get 24 normal points, 52 commander points for 76 total. NOT 76 commander points.
and what about the expert engineer badge? 25 rep-points IAR ??! just crazy and impossible !! i barely got the 6 for basic, 10 will be hard but possible, 25 no way! anyone managed to get that one?!kontrolcrimson wrote:

Repair points are definitely the type of points the game is stingiest with giving out. You can't even get the Basic Engineering badge casually; it takes a round's worth of dedication to finding and fixing everything in sight.
It's one of the reasons Engineer isn't as popular a job as it could be, if you ask me. TKs caused by careless teammates running over mines, little reward for doing your job, high danger factor in standing next to occupied vehicles...
Reminds me of that Photoshopped war poster: "Engineer: A Stoopid [sic] Class... Until You Need One."

Well, 1 full asset repair will get you a point. But it has to be FULL. 1 full vehicle repair will do it too, it just takes longer to do some than others, so the best ones are Buggies and Hummer's.Q-BRT|= wrote:

If you can somehow find someone to drive around with in a tank or something and get out and repair him a lot that might work...its not easy though.
i was thinking about some time-calculation like: 1 point=37sec x 25 = 9,25 min in a row. u know...
