BF2S Forums C4 on Vehicles

I'm one that plays for the "realism" factor. Yeah, I know it's a game, and my stats suck because of it, but I have more fun than just running and gunning and suicide missions, etc.
I actually TRY to live as long as possible, and not just think "Hey, I can kill myself and another guy, then respawn...and do it again!"
Tank? Well I just take it out with a mine or a well placed rocket

Look at is this way. Is C4 more powerful than the AT Rocket? Yes. Is there an effective way of delivering that payload to the enemy unit in a quick and efficient manner? Yes. It takes 2 - 4 shots w/ the Rocket to destroy a tank *depending on where you hit it* Vs, 2 C4 on a Jeep, a bit of luck, and the ability to drive a vehicle, can help turn the tide of a battle over a flag spot. Is it cheap? No more than using M203s. Are there other ways to do it? I'm sure there are, many examples have been made in earlier posts. Different situations demand different solutions. Go with it.

usually whenever im in a tank and i see a jeep coming up to me the first thing i do is blow smoke and run away. Its a scary thing

Hate them, cant stand them, should not play that why and they waste there team cars.

I would say most likely when people realized that C4 sticks to vehicles.

As far as the topic goes: I don't mind the C4 suicide vehicles so bad, really - as often as not the tank kills them before they get there, in my experience.

But I will say I played in a series of rounds on SF where we were terrorised by a lunatic called Snowwy who zoomed around on those ATV quad bikes loaded with C4 slamming into things, which I'll say are much much harder to shoot than jeeps. And it would seem they explode really easily when rammed into things.

Unfortunately, my squad continued to get terrorised by this idiot even after the autobalance put him on OUR TEAM because of how indescriminately he smashed into things.

I am one of those Jihad Jeep drivers you all speak of. Actually, its how my clan gots it's name:

Anyway, I mostly try to do it in good fun. Every so often, after a 3rd or 4th successful run, I'll shout out "Allah Akkbar" in the talk to everyone screen, and I get a good laugh out of it. Every so often, I'll get some tool who will accuse me of cheating, and this pisses me off. Let me tell you, if you don't like it, don't let the suicide bomber know. If you start giving me shit, I will suicide bomb you until you leave the server, or join my team. I don't ever TK. That's just my thing.

Anyway, long live the bomb buggy.

And on a related note, future possible teammates take note... if a car that's driving by looks like a christmas tree from the detpacks, don't hitch a ride, I really don't want the TK's. Let me do this solo.

P.S. I DO like C4+ATV's too. Those are REALLY fun. You don't even have to jump off to det them. UP NEXT: C4+Jet Skis.
