BF2S Forums A(nother) Sniper Thread

Fav moment was at the start of a game on sharqi, another sniper was on top of the large building near hotel - head shot, then next game he was in the same spot, and the next game and the next game and the next.

Went to bed after that.  But he was probably back up there.

i love when ppl are like, apparently im the only good sniper in the game and then you snipe them, a lot, thats always fun

My favorite thing about sniping has to be the anti-sniper.  The newb who normally just groundpounds or whatever, but becomes so frustrated by being pinned down and getting killed without being able to do anything about it over and over again that they decide to play sniper.  They think "god damn snipers have no skill, it's so easy and they just kill at distance" so they go out of their way to try to take me out.  They don't realize that 1. They're way too green to know how to snipe 2. there is skill and 3. If I'm that annoying to them, I'm really on a roll, have a good position/situation and am just playing really well at the time.  So they decide to just be sniper fodder, and the lesson, as always, sniping is not the sort of thing you should try to do if you aren't good at it and the other guy is.  You wouldn't try to fly a jet or a helicopter to take down some guy raping your team if you didn't know how to fly and have previous flight experience, so why oh why do people waste there time at counter-sniping when they can barely even zoom in and move?

to times when people ask you where the f*ck you are hiding after you kiled them a couple of times iar,

just to kill them again and again, love when that hapens, like i am going to tell them where they can kill me, lol

Gotta be the best when you get run over, then they sit in the HMMWV or Vodnik & are strafing your team, you spawn back in, BAM! "ok, everyone up, coast is clear!" Then into the vehicle, roll over to their base, pop them when they come out again  :-)
