Yawn, I still have some medals that require 4000+ hours according to this site, they should reduce the badge requirements, there isn't enough time in a round to get 40 or 44 kills
No it's in effect now, people have got medals today for SF.
Was 4500 excessive? 50 is much more reasonable. Thanks for the info.
3 new medals popped up in my stats today. I was like "huh? that can't be right!". Guess I was wrong.

Either way, this is a game that is played worldwide that uses safe war simulation as it's selling point, it is not meant to be gospel, so if people want to call themselves soldiers (in a purely cyber sense) then where's the harm?
I have been in two theatre's in my time, and have risked my life, and I have absolutely no problem with anybody wanting to call themselves a fictitous soldier.

Quite a few gamers are actual soldiers. And yes, most soldiers have a choice. Some are forced in by their parents, others have the choice of the military or jail. That's not a good choice, but I'd definetly pick military.
Psycho, you got all worked up over Citizen calling the guy a soldier. It was a joke, and I think it somehow hit close to home basing on your response.
Is one of your family members in the military (or did someone you know die in war)? Or are you just in a bad mood.

Yep, I just finished a game and to my surprise I had the Navy Cross and Golden Schmitar
i logged on, didnt notice anything play 2 rounds and almost shit myself when i saw i had golden scimitar and navy cross when i knew i was maybe half way on both, jsut made my day
Yay... Soon as I read the post this morning on bf2player.com I had to modify my signature in anticipation of all these new medals lol.

Um, shouldn't the EU be 100 hrs like the other 3 army medals? Instead of 50. Also, I hope they just left out insurgent and aren't leaving the insurgent requirements at 4,500.
