A while ago I used Teamspeak, no problems (other than the server only having one channel for both teams - I got accused of cheating by being on teamspeak and responding to the other team's chatter, but that's a different story). My spec at the time was:
P4 3.0Ghz
512Mb Ram
Geforce 6600GT 256Mb
On-board sound with 2.0 speakers
Logitech USB headset
Since winning the lottery (no, not the jackpot, just a few hundred quid) I upgraded to:
P4 3.0Ghz
2Gb Ram
Geforce 7800GTX
X-FI Music sound card
Logitech 5550 5.1 speakers
el-cheapo headset that's not USB
And now Teamspeak doesn't work. It loads but the mic is muted and I can't find any way to turn it back on.
Anyone else had this problem? Any advice? I am sure it's something between the X-FI and Teamspeak because everything else works perfectly, with each other. However, after shelling out close to a hundred quid for a sound card, I don't want to ditch it, but I need Teamspeak as well.
