I used to play a great game called, "Shadow Ops: Red Mercury" (some say it was crappy). On that game, I ran a server called, "Total Chaos" or "Lol" in case someone might know it. It was a popular server. So one day, I boot it up, it was empty. I left the server run for about 3 hours as I went out.

I come back. I see from the logs that my friend and a guy named, "JoeThePro" joined. I also see a message, which was the last thing I ever wanted to see:

WARNING: Access attempted by "JoeThePro". Authorization denied.
WARNING: Unauthorized access attempted by "JoeThePro".

In laymens terms: my server got hacked unsuccessfully.

I immediatly shut the server down. I call my friend, and he proves that "JoeThePro" was doing something malacious.

Conversation:
Him: That guy was a moron! He just stood there. Sometimes I caught him running straight into a wall.
Me: That idiot tried to hack my server. Probably why he was like that.

He was outside his screen, probably using hacking software.

Ever have an experience like this?
