I just started to get into the whole BF2 Editor thing, and I want to make a new really fun map to play with my friends or even some of you guys if you want, I want to get your input on some ideas. I want it to be a big map, like Wake, with Jets & Choppers, but also a lot of closed quarters infantry fighting, Iron Gator style. Give me some of your suggestions. Thanks!
You could make an underground complex of tunnels for infantry, and big open oil fields for jets and Tanks, And try and put some sea in for boat fights lol, no one does that!
ok cool , right well have you ever played the map "DC sea rigs" it has 2 rigs (closed quarters infantry fighting) , 2 carriers (like Wake, with Jets and choppers). The Mec have the rigs to start of with and the americans (USMC ) have to assualt the rigs. It would be great to see a map like this. lol If you made it , i would even help you. Ok, well I keep getting all these errors with my BF2Editor, and I'm still pretty new at it, anyone able to help me out and guide me through the first parts? I've read a ton of tutorials, but I cant get this thing started, I keep getting a ton of errors in a row.

and wilst im here il jsut say its near impossible to make decent tunnels in bf2. as you cant put things thru the ground, u hav to hav like roofs, its hard to explain and even harder to do.

you should start like a map making team or something , if your first map works then make another.
um it's possible to play costum maps at BF2?
