I've forgotten the name exactly of what they're called, so I need your lots help in finding them.

They're sort of a fridge in reverse, they pump out cold air to keep a room cold. They're typically used in server rooms, you can get big ones and small ones.  What're they called?

I'm looking to put one in the room in which my pc resides, in summer even with all the windows open it's like an oven. (worried about pc overheating)

Anyone point me to urls of shops that sell them? (plus the name of the damn things)

Erm.. You mean an air-conditioning unit? Here's a URL that fits to your country:
http://www.daikin.co.uk/airconditioning … efault.jsp
That are "one room solutions" as you need one.

Annoyingly enough about ten minutes after I posted I remembered the names of the damn things.

Thanks guys anyway.

Although i'm going for something in the range of £50-200, just something to sit in a small room to keep it cool in summer when the pc is powered on.

Don't put it anywhere near the PC.  Get to much cold air in there and it will cause condinsation with all the hot componets in your pc.

Water on your mobo is bad :-).

Good luck.
