mm yeah i don't know if this topic is supposed to have a purpose, so i'll make it have one:
I hate the damned reserve slot kicking.  I've been kicked atleast 10 times today already.  Quite annoying.  They should lock the reserve slot and not let people join into them.

Simple fix. Go play on EA Official Servers.

Other than that you can try to change the world and write a better admin slot kicking script that will kick idle players, or players with negative score before kicking the better scoring people on the server.

I hate getting kicked from servers because some people are more "important" than you are.

Total BS. Plus it goes on your permanent BF Stats record of how many servers you've been kicked off of.

Really stupid, I agree.

Make your own server then. Heck, those other people are more important the you, thats why you're being kicked in the first place. Just be more important and it wont happen.

sad thing is that they also kick you even if there is no one to take the reserved slot ( clanmember, admin, etc. ). It would be better to allow you to play until someone with rights for the reserved slot comes in.

Good point. You just got bad luck man...If you would rent your own server, you wouldnt prolly want to wait that someone leaves it if its full.

You hit the nail right on the head. I don't think I would be impressed if I was shelling out money for a server only to be told...'sorry, there's a non fee paying member playing your slot'. We're guests, and although it's hard when it happens.... It's just better to go elsewhere... there's irony in here somewhere

Why not just make it so it only kicks when the reservist comes in? There'll never be the max # of people in a server when this option is on even when whoevers slot that is isnt online.

And this happens on EA servers too.

You know I don't know how you people are even getting on these servers that have reserve slots.

For example. Kirkland 30/34 (2)

If the server says this in the browser I am not able to join. This is because each reserve slot, which this server shown has 2 of, is actually 4 player slots. Each slot reserves one on each team. So I'm not even allowed to join. Hence I don't know how you are joining when the server has reserve slots and then getting kicked for being in reserve slots. The only way to get kicked would be if the Admin kicks you and its not because of reserve slots. Its probably because they ran out of slots and they want more of their own clan or friends on.

In this case is the same as it was before reserve slots and the same as it has been since the beginning of FPS time.
