Higher than 2000 DPI? I doubt it and even if that's the case, have you tried 2000 DPI on a mouse before? It's impossible to play with unless you turn your windows and ingame sensitivity to the lowest settings.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

I own the G5. I dont know the other mouse. What I can say is that I love it. Its the best for sniping and also for Photoshop (im no Pro).
The G5 has thess little weights ...but I dont use them...
Also horizontal scroll function ...but I dont use it...
This backbutton for like firefox ... I USE IT ALOT!
Do keep in mind that I first owned a logitech MX300.
I came from cheap to high, so the speak.

Logitech makes good crap i love my headphones and mouse and i had a webcam but it served no purpose i got 40 bucks for it on ebay wooohoo anyways ya get the logitech its probably mroe reliable

G5 and G7 has one more difference other than wires, G5 has adjustable weight inserts to improve accuracy or improve speed. Also there is a colour and texture differnce. I like G5 for its grainy texture which allows you to have grip on that thing even if your hands are swetty while the G7 has a smooth texture so you get that sticky feeling.
Take the G5. I had theLogitech MX510 and that was sooooo comfortable and accurate.
