Hi, I got a question. I would like to hear if someone has experience with this or knows the 'law' about this.

The situation is:

I bought a Logitech Joystick for 30 euro with postingcosts on the internet, I life in holland.
Now seems that the joystick isnt good even logitech confirms this.
So i mailed 'my' online shop about this and they said, ok, you need to send us the joystick (back) and we change it to a new one and send it to you (back). BUT they also said that the postcosts for sending to them is on me and the sending to me is on them.

This is something i dont get. I payed for a good joystick and not for a bad one and a change.

I can also say, my agreement (resemblance*) with them is that I pay and expect to get a good joystick. they deliver me a not good one and so they do not follow the agreement (resemblance*) which gives me some options accoriding our law. 1) stop agreement (resemblance) 2) damage-money that i made 3) and some more. lol

Can anybody help me if i should pay this money? I havent send yet. also, i do not want to make enemys with 'my' onlineshop.
Or does somebody else have some kind of same situtation and can say that he/she payed or not.

Thanks in future.

I believe most online companies charge you shipping for returns.
If I'm reading your post right,  the joystick sucks but isn't defective, then you've got to pay to ship it yourself if you want it exchanged.
Even if it is defective (in a few weeks I'll be shipping my *new* defective dvd writer for a *refurbished* exchange, and I'll be paying the postage for that) it's up to you.

Who pays for the return shipping varies from vendor to vendor in the U.S.  They are not in any way required to pay for return shipping.  Many do, however, as it's a very cheap way to elevate client relations.
