BF2S Forums Can't connect to BF2, I need help!!!

after i installed the new patch, i go to login and it says you can;t connect, please check your network connections. but i can connect! i can use the internet and check my email. everything works fine except on BF2. now i try it and the message doesnt even come up! what can i do? this is my 3rd post and 3 different forums, i really wish sumone could help me out!
