I'm pretty sure Windows only supports 3 sticks, but not absolutly sure.  Try with only 2 or 3.

Try rearranging your ram. Put the 2 512MB sticks closest to your processor. Then put the 2 256MB sticks after the 512s. If that still doesnt do it, try all the ram with each other. Example: put the 2 512s in with one 256. Put the 2 256s in with one 512. If you play and it's not white with one stick out, its a bad stick of ram. Just make sure the bigger ram is closest to your processor.

Orange and green, most likely just slot identifiers. If you are using ddr, it's definitely not bank ram. That's too old school. Do you know what kind of motherboard you have? Check the manual if you have it.

OMFG HAX!!! lol

jking, there are loads of graphics bugs in the game, one piece of advice:

If the game sometimes crashes coz of this, run in windows mode, this can be done in the shortcut by changing the 1 to a 0. You then get an error message that tells you the error.

BTW if you need memory, buy it from this company, if your outside UK you do have to pay postage but its worth it. http://www.crucial.com/uk/

Also, make sure windows in reconizing the ram. Right click My Computer and click properties. Now check the information, it will say processor speed, processor type, amount of ram, and your windows version. Make sure windows is reconizing all of your ram. Should be around 1536MB of ram.

once you have enough Money, try buying a NVidia GeForce 6600 256 MB, or buy something else which has 512 MB. I love the NVidia GeForce 6600 256 MB.
