Is that just a guess of what you think the global score has to be? Or did EA say something about this?
i think its a guestimation of some sort.
I believe Chuy recieves info on the requirements for ranking.
Not a guess, that is the current requirement. You'll see some of those top rankers hit it in a month or two (oddly, right about the same time the expansion comes out ... )

well dont you think they are oging to add more ranks ater 2nd leutenant...there is still general If I recall right... So to call that the last rank would be silly...no doubt they will be adding more slowly...and hopefulyl more medals and ribbons too...

I would like to see the adding of Battlefield promotions and the ability to put someone up for a reward.
I would also like to see EA Improve the look of the higher enlisted ranks in game. The close up of the center of the rank looks really bad!! I earned every stripe, and I think everyone one should be able to see it clearly!!

hopefully they don't lower them so that the people with a global score of 9 will be 2nd lt like they did with the rest of the ranks.

So like, is the Sgt Major of the corps impossible for anyone to get consitering they'll be 2nd Lt? It'd be kinda retarded to switch to 2nd Lt then go to Sgt Major of the corps
probably they'll lower the reqs again, ya, but i hope they don't do it like this time. don't get me wrong, i'm happy that i was promoted from cpl to gunny, but at a point it's just too easy. also i hope they don't do all the ranks. after all, it'll look a little silly to have a 4 star general running around with sergeants and cpls.

there is no more 5 stars in the service any more.. not since WWII. but would be cool to have it in BF2.. jsut means you are the top gun, shits of all shits..

But hey, the only way anyone can be promoted to the fifth star is during war time. I cannot happen during peace time.
last time i checked this game doesnt seem to have much to do with peace...looks like a war with the middle eastern coalition, and for some reason the peoples army of china.
