Ok I just have to have a little say for everyone who is a moron which is apparently almost all of you in BF2. OK here is the situation, there is a group of say 3-4 guys ahead and you me and maybe a few other guys are rushing. Suddenly, we see them coming at us, everyone drops except you.

Your teammates prone and start firing on the enemy. You being a greedy fucktard decide it is your duty to rush in and "try" to get all the kills. To your utter shock and suprise, you get cut in half by your own team; usually me with an RPK and you see the kill screen like this:

SLUT [CANADA]_Zenmaster [RPK] MrCrappyAIM
SLUT [CANADA]_Zenmaster [RPK] MedicTryingtoRevive
SLUT [CANADA]_Zenmaster [Teamkills] YOU

You then have three options:

A) Punish before I can say sorry
B) Punish even if I was typing sorry or spamming voice sorry
C) Punish after I say sorry anyway

All I can say is that if you weren't such a greedy fucktard, and you actually went prone instead of running in like a nubbin, you would have lived and got some kills. Punishing me for your stupidity aggrovates the hell out of me because you are the idiot not me. If I just shot your ass and got no kills, I wouldn't be so upset. But because you can cleary see I got a bunch of kills and you ran in front of my gun, you should fucking commit hari kari you useless piece of braindead shit.

Further more, if you run at an opening people are grenading and you get blown up, and then you press punish because PGUP is missing from your keyboard, I congratulate you for being another useless teammate.

The worst part of it is when I am clearly on the top of the leaderboard, I just got a run of kills, and you choose to punish. What were you fucking thinking?

You should only punish if someone purposely team kills you. I forgive 99% of the fucking time because I know you threw a bad nade, or I walked mindlessly under your tank - I always forgive you unless you do something 10 year old like M95 me in the J10, or team-kill at an equipment spawn. Punishing your team-mates is a detriment to your team, unless they are actually hurting your team. When you punish someone on top of your teams leaderboard, you are risking getting them kicked and loosing a good team player. Are you a fucking moron?

well said but i doubt there will ever be an end to 10 year olds playing a 15 + game (i finally understand why those rules are put in place)... what they need are admins that can "spectate" as in its like no clip u can zoom around the whole map and see whats goin on.. if sumone gets punished for tryin to get off the runway an 10 year olds are blocking it .. those 10 year olds will get banned and the punish will be taken away from u =] if only... we can dream cant we?

I just experienced my first bout of weekend warriors. You only have to look at them wrong and they punish.

What's that? My exploding tank cause parts of my legs to hit you in the head causing a critical injury? Why certainly, that was clearly my intent!.

That pisses me off to the extreme. I saw one o my guys die, so I go up and revive him and then out of the corner of my screen, I see the guy that killed him. So I start shooting at the enemy and the revied team-mate tosses a grenade at him, despite the fact that i was only a few meters away. I don't punish realising it was crazy heat of the battle thinking. He revives me (yea it was a medic whored team) we continue oon to cap the flag. I get killed again and I pick up some snipers kit and it had teh l96a1 which I hadn't unlocked yet, so I kept it. we managed to get to the flag and I layed my claymores around,  the entrances, and he camped at one. a guy comes up the stairs and sets off the claymores and I get a tk. AND THE CUNT FUCKING PUNISHED ME!

Ok, he wouldn't have been dead if it wasn't for me reviving him. I didn't punish him when he was dicknosed enough to throw a nade at me this |---| far away from me. Now I wasn't that angry at the time coz it was a one off. But yea. It makes me angry now.

yeah i pretty much always forgive, however im not stopping to type sorry in the chat if im in the middle of a firefight. ive had this happen before, it went something like this: "grenade out" "grenade out" "grenade out" as a teammate sees an enemy spawn and go prone, so of course he ignores the grenade and charges in yelling, OMG!!!!!!NYF SKILLZZZZZ BIATCHIZZZ and jump prones trying to get the kill as my second and third nade go off killing both of them..... then i get OMG DOOD WTF NIGGER YOU KILLED ME *punish* now im generaly a nice guy, and fun to play with. but this pissed me the fuck off, so i tracked him down with my dao-12 and shot him, my friend brought him back, and i shot him, we did this until i ran out of ammo so i started knifing him, then he disconnected and i left the server. i dont remember his name but i would if i saw him, and i would do everything in my power to destroy him

Yes, no one is a god, and no one is perfect. You seem to have missed the entire reason why the forgive option exists.

god I ran into soo many people like that on a karkand server today.

I was using the PKM so i would drop down and start shooting, then mister retared medic comes and starts throwing medic bag on me even though I wasn't hurt at all. Then in he bag throwing spasm he jumps into the stream of bullets coming from my gun. Lukily for me an enemy bullet hit him in the back of the hit right before my bullets fkilled him so I only got a team damage.

Then a US squad was coming slowly into an ally that I was positioned in, but I can't kill them because a member of the most worthless class on Karkand, a sniper, decided to run in front of me and kill the squad with his pistol!!!!! So his stupid move buys the enemy squad enough time to get everyone into the ally and over whelm me and, of course, Mister Rambo snpier.


(Not all snpiers are worthless on KArkand but on my team the snipers sucked...real bad...in fact I got killed many times in front of them by someone sneaking up on me and they don't even shot, heck I don't remeber them killing anyone.)

That is the biggest problem I have with support. I find a nice alley to cover, three arabs pop out of a hole, and I happily open fire. To my dismay, six Marines will bunnyhop over my head and get instantly torn in half by my PKM.

Lets all start a revolution. Stickytape your Page Up (or whatever key you have forgive binded too) down every time you play BF2 so you automatically forgive all TKs, as 90% of them are accidental.

Sadly this will never happen.

Nice rant Zenmaster, and I hear ya. I'm pretty good though, I always tend to avoid friendly bullets when that happens. The times it has occurred though I've forgiven and followed it up by "Don't worry, shit happens," (Once I got kicked for saying shit too. )

I only TKpunish when I round a corner on full health and someone unloads their weapon on me before they realise I'm a friendly. A lot of the time it's an accident, but I feel a gentle reminder may be what they need to calm down a bit.
And I TK punish for the really really obvious intentional teamkills.

I'm pretty mellow though.

HEAR HEAR Canada. I've seen it happen to you too many times to count.

Stupid kids that run in front of me while I'm firing lower my score and cost me medals. When fucknobs punish me for accidents 2 things happen,

A. I immediately kick them from my squad, and I remember to never let them roll with me again. This usually is accompained with me shouting "Get the fuck out of my squad, you punishing dumpsterfuck" over VOIP.
2. Next time I see them lying on the ground needing a dose of shock paddle, I walk on by as if they're an enemy.

Everybody makes mistakes. It happens to veterans every now and then. Sometimes gunners miss, sometimes a missle locks on to a friendly, etc. That's why I always forgive; I know you're not trying to kill me, one of us made a mistake. The purpose of the TK punish/forgive feature is to remove intentonally TKing asshats and other children from the server, not kick & ban teammates that are actually trying to play the goddamn game. The server can't sort out intentional TKs from accidental ones on its own cognizance, so one uses PgUp or PgDwn to either 'forgive' said TK as an unfortunate accident or 'punish' it as an intentional TK that adds to that player's kick/ban total. Unfortunately most people who play BF2 (read: 14 year olds) aren't able to grasp this concept, so they punish for everything.

I have been a pilot a long time now, and I know of all the HUD bugs, LGM bugs (WHICH REALLY ANNOY ME) and other such bugs that EA will never get rid of. For example, with the HUD bug, when an ally soldier gets out of any vehicle, some times the vehicles shows up as enemy after they get out. One time, gulf of oman, I had an SU-34 bomber, so an ally jeep of mine (with 3 guys in it) drove to an enemy base, and bailed out to cap it.  I fly along, and I see an enemy enemy target at that flag. Well what do you know! it is that ally jeep with 3 guys standing beside it. So I give all my buddies a chance to catch some of my bombs, 2 seconds later, I had 3 teamkills, surprisingly (i couldnt believe this) no one punished.

Its really only the pilots that do as above and try to nail ONE guy in another spawn point when he knows clear as day there are other jets in the air!!!  Ok maybe all or most of the CP's have AA.  Thats great, but when you have 4-5 of us standing around a flag trying to cap it and off in the distance you see a friendly jet bomb and nail ONE person... we could use the help.  I am just rambling at this point, time to drive it home.  COMMANDERS!!!  If you got one asshat sitting in an area that I am attempting to cap, I assure you for the most part people can handle themselves in this situation...dont fuckin arty for one asshole!!!  I swear to all things fucking holy i am going to make a neck device that you have to wear to command, and you get shocked for every TK in that situation!!!  Thats all, and in commanders defense, dont try to chew my ass for running into your arty, I do see the red thingie, im going in for a reason, I get my ass chewed enough being in the military without having your dumbass all caps me or yell at me over VOIP, and you wont get any cooperation out of me by doing the above.  Again im sorry for rambling or sounding like an asshat, but i had to vent.  Thank you
