ok, here's the deal....

im playing on a server. everythings fine. it switches maps..... map changes to Wake Island. and it tells me it cant launch map because i have modified content and to revert back to old version???

so i go to my EA downloader and reinstall 1.22 thinking thats the problem? but when i do it tells me i dont even have 1.21 installed???? WTF .... so i reinstall 1.21 blah blah blah... and then go back to 1.22 install but it's still telling me i dont have 1.21 installed???

I've done this a couple times now.. restarted my computer and still nothing?

PLEASE HELP

I had this problem - annoying isnt it. The only thing i could come up with was to completely re-install.
there may be a solution though

That's because you're doing the 1.21-1.22 INCREMENTAL patch.
It expects you to only have 1.21 installed, so you have to do the 1.22 full installation if you want to repatch.

ok, downloading full patch now.

but im not understanding why i've been able to use the incremintal patches in the past? why the full now?

I used to play Wake Island before.. no problem until the 1.22 patch?

eh.. whatever... one day i'll become a computer nerd and figure all this crap out with my eyes closed!

you have to use the full patch now because the incremental only patches you up from 1.21 and it looks to see if you have 1.21 installed, but you have 1.22 installed.
so you need to repatch using the full- and it still doesn't work, then you have to reinstall the whole game from scratch.
