Middle East Ribbon in 228 hours, but no PRC Ribbon yet.

I was suddenly awarded the Middle East Ribbon. I only got 228 hours. There was no in-game message.

However, I have not yet got the PRC Ribbon.

Hope that this could help ascertain on what conditions these 2 Ribbons are awarded.

The new requirement appears to be just 20 hours playing for the MEC (Middle East)... or China (Far East).

I have only 120 hours, and there are others with much less - even 40 hours. I only have the MEC one with 20:03 - the China one, i am expecting to get in a few more hours, as it's at 18:20

Note, I got the MEC one on 20 hours with the 1.02 patch yesterday.

It's lower than that. I just got Chinese at 8 hours as chinese, and MEC with 15 hours. The main thing is you'll get it at the end of a round (I'm guessing a round that you WON). Since it awards it after the round is over, you won't see in in game (since you are sitting looking at the scores like everyone else).

Ok, after the patch I have received on the same day (presumably same time) the Middle East Ribbon and the Far East Ribbon (PRC). My MEC time was around 70 hours, China time was 13 hours

Im having a similar experience, I got both ribbons with only 150+ hours of gaming. There must definitly be some sort of new requirement for them.

i got my mec ribbon as well when i updated to 1.03 only got like 20.5 hours or something i have also won with usa and china and havent got their ribbon so there must be more to it than simply finishing 1st in game

I got mine service ribbons to when i logged in after installing the patch. The i got the Good Conduct ribbon that used have 250h total play time.

I've got my Far east suddenly with barely 7 hours on China with about 120 hours Total playing and mid east with totally different statistics, about 20 hours on MEC and about 90 total

Wait though... doesn't that ribbon have to do with time playing on maps within those theaters? Like a mideast theater award doesn't necessarily mean you had to play that many hours for the MEC, but if you spent a lot of hours playing Karkand and Oman as the USMC, you would have spent a lot of time in the mideast theater.

Or maybe I'm totally wrong on all that.

I believe you are right Dodger. I have a mere 7 and a half hours clocked as the chinese, from a total of only just 40hrs. I have the Far East Service Ribbon now (thanks to the patch).

It's requirements are "Time in Theater" and "Time in Service".
"Time in Service" must relate to your overall play time, I assume.
And "Time in Theater" is your total time spent in that particular area of the world - ie the maps based in china or the middle east. So it's based on your time on certain maps, surely?

CHINA 08:13:12 14 19

I have the Service ribbons for both of these armies now. I have just over 40 hours clocked total, and I got them both suddenly yesterday.
