Yes, the USA does have an official language. In fact, one of the things that political parties used to use to get people to vote was the fact that when an official language was being debated that only one vote separated the difference between English and German as the official language.sfg-Ice__ wrote:

Mexico has an immagration policy and I don't see anywhere in it that allows you to move to Mexico illegally, work illegally, NOT pay taxes and live off of Mexican social services all the while you send your illegal wages back home to your native country. Maybe a small percentage of illegal immigrants have this idea, but I hardly think it is the norm. I strongly believe that most illegals, and legal immigrants, come to the U.S. to build a better life for themselves and their families. They want the American Dream, and people like you (who were or had relatives that were once immigrants) get all xenophobic and say, "no way, they speak a different language, get 'em outta here."
