I am sitting in work, totally bored out of my scull, friday afternoon and cant be bothered doing anywork. Also i am waiting for my mate to call me when he gets into town before i go and meet him for lunch.

anyone up to anything even remotely interesting right now?

i.e. solving any of lifes little problems?, getting completely wasted since it is friday and you have nothing better to do?, "studying" for an exam before breaking up for easter?

I know i dont sound like a model worker, but in the company i am in, i am the only employee that should actual be called 'A Full Timer', the others take the piss. Also i am the one who does most of the work so i can afford to do less work on a friday (god i hope my boss doesn read this forum!)

I'm the Texan version of you guys over on the other side of the Atlantic. It's 10:08 am, I'm sitting in my lab, nothing to do cause I finished it all before 8:30. Constantly checking the forums for replies, funny posts, and intelligence. (2 outta 3 ain't bad) I'm clock watching at this point, as every tic and tock bring me one second closer to not being a t work.

On the optimistic side, I'm getting paid pretty good for checking on the forums.....

I, TOO, am bored out of my skull. I have pretty much mastered my job duties so it's turning into routine, which in turn, turns into boredum. For hours a day I sit here, fucking hating this position, although the company is pretty awesome (www.line6.com). I am trying to get back into school to get my MCSE and then after that, try and complete my CCNA, so I can get out of here and go make some big bucks. My girlfriend is an ER nurse, so she works an 11am-11pm shift, so she usually chats with me on AIM to take my mind off my boredum. And being that I love her so much, i'm always using my empty time to think of new ways to show my appreciation for her ( ya ya ya, i'm a softy, but i was raised to treat the RIGHT woman with the utmost respect). She and I have many inside jokes, so i'm always searching Google for images and photoshopping these pics into our inside jokes, she fucking loves them.....

anyways.... that's what I/am do/doing.

Just got home from work, would have posted a reply to this thread there if I hadn't been sitting in the lab downstairs, there's no wireless internet there so I can't use my laptop to go online and I don't think my colleague (he's on vacation now) would appreciate it if I were to use his desktop for something not work related...

Been doing high performance liquid chromatography all day, which is pretty boring: inject sample, push a button, wait 20 minutes, inject sample, push a button wait 20 minutes etc... First time I've been using that particular machine so it took half a day to get the settings right, which means not that much real analyses have been performed.

Plus it's too hot for my taste in that lab. One of my coleagues came to my lab on the third floor and said "Shit man, it's freezing in here"

It's Sunday here, and about the time most people are on the Bf2s server I think, (checks main page... there are about 23 people on the Europe server, so maybe.)
Anyway, I've been trying this weekend to get in touch with a potential employer. I left a message on Friday, (two days ago,) with my number and whatnot but no response. I called again today but no-one's answering. I have 63 cents at the moment, I NEED A JOB! I've just started mid-semester break so I have two weeks and I would like to spend them earning as much money as possible! I am so broke!

Just find a job at a store and work there you will earn money and while you are working there you can SEARCH for another job and when you get another job just leave the store.
