Right, need you guys to sort this out for us.

Me and my friend were looking at comparisons between PC and XBOX 360. Now i dont know if it s me or not, gettin old n all, but personally i think all theyve done with the XBOX 360 games is make it a bit blurrier. It looks like all the games have been smeared with water on a sponge. Personally, i think its a cheap and nasty looking tactic in games design, he thinks its great, obviously.

Best comparison is the new BF2 for XBOX 360. My friend says that the explosions are good......... and thats it, but is so sure of himself saying that this console is aces.

So, anyone, opinions, is XBOX 360 graphics good, or has someone used the blur a bit too much and upped the price.

i thought that Burnout Revenge on the 360 does look as if they have just blurred everything. But then i played a Basket ball game and does look impressive.

Really fast games like burnout should be blured,i think it adds to the effect of speed.Played cod2 on the 360 looks good .Just looks like a pc game.

I think it looks quite silly the much your weapon moves when you walk,
and the fact that you can EVEN play with 24 people /sarcasm

im not too thrilled with the fact that there is still no antialiasing on most of the games for the 360. COD2, GRAW, BF2, Fight Night are full of jagged polys. the blurring is a cheap way of masking the low res of consoles even on an HD display.

the only positive thing about a console is if it crashes a lot you know the entire system is busted because you cannot troubleshoot one component alone. unlike a PC where you can replace/upgrade parts and still have the system running your current and future games.
