In what series, for both Nvidia and ATI, will Direct X 10 will start to be supported. Will it just be for Vista? And I wanted to know is there any one who is running linux and playing this game??

im not sure about Linux, but XP and Vista should support DX10

nVidia's G80 will be based on Direct X 10, not sure about ATi, if theyre smart, the R620 should be DX10 as well

I wish I was running Linux and playing this game.

DirectX 10 will be something that the Linux community will have to tinker with in order to provide some level of compatibility with emulation.  There are projects out there that deal with DirectX in general so the level of support for the DirectX API will heavily depend on how fast that they can take the various (new) API calls and functions and wrap it around the OpenGL API.

The Linux community will pop open DX10 in record time.
