They will, as not to offend anyone or hurt anybodies feelings they will choose to stick their heads in the sand ( like clinton ) and ignore the problems at hand. They think that if we just go home they will leave us alone and not be a threat to us. Only trouble with that is, we were not over there all through the 90s and in the new century and we were attacked no less than 5 times.Horseman 77 wrote:

In the early years of the war, the British were quite popular with the Iraqi locals.
Not like the Americans, who shot a group of civilians because they couldn't hear them.
im osrry but that is a american man speaking in the vid so kida makes me think...
Which video? The one the thread is about? Sounds like a northern British accent to me.JaM3z wrote:

I dissagree man. They were over there. The CIA has been "over there" for years and years. If its not trainning and arming Olama and the mujahideen. They were instigating the over throwing of elected governments in the area.lowing wrote:

I would hazard a guess that you are a Republican? Clinton was by no means a saint but he had abit of tact. Bush would like the ppl to beleive that Oslama happened on Clintons watch, but it was more like on Regan and Bush Sr's watch. It was Bush's government that chartered a private plane to go pick up Oslama's familly and friends who were all studying in universities around the states on September 11th/12th. Usualy you would want to talk to the friends and family of someone who organized such an attack.
Has anyone seen the video of bUSH on the school visit as the planes struck. An aid came in and informed him that the nation was under attack. He just sat on reading a childrens book looking confused. He sat there until the next plane hit and he was then removed by 2 members of his staff. Idiot! Clinton was atleast a real person who could be caught with his pants down. Its interesting that its a bigger deal that Clinton banged an intern (most powerful man on the planet, come on you would have to.) or Bush made up a pack of lies to start a war over oil.
This thread is still goin'?
Time to forget about michale moore movies ( where they slowed the Tape down to make The President look Dazed ) and "hollywood left" opinions.JahManRed wrote:

You have no Idea what you are talking about.
What little kids don't realize is " Its pretty poor when you can only get you dk sukd by the hired help " You have to pay for sex " Not to impressive really lol.
Well taxpayers paid for his sex and then every one paid,
When emboldened by the masturbators lack of response terrorists staged 911.
clinton did not respond to 8 separate attacks on his country. The first being WTC93.
Bush They attacked only once. It seems they realized they made a mistake and they haven't been back.
At the fountain of knowledge you must do more than gargle.
So in front of a bunch of 4th graders I suppose the Bush should have went nuts and started running around frantically. Maybe the secret service should have drawn their weapons and kept the 4th graders pinned until the the president could be safely flown outta there.JahManRed wrote:

Bush showed calmness and professionalism in the face of that elementary school and should be commended. The fact that you try and deface him over such a thing does nothing but reveal that you have an agenda to attack and exploit Bushs' actions at every opportunity regardless of the facts.
In response to the first post, i think the British forces involved showed incredible restraint not to really go to town on them. What was the other option? You cant hand them to the Police cos the Iraqi Police are corrupt from the bottom right the way through to the top and they would have been home drinking tea half an hour later or rioting again.
A good shoeing is in order.

Bush couldn't just have finished the story, gotten up, and left politely? I'm not siding with either of you- I'm just saying he didn't have to be there for so long. As we know, there were a lot of important decisions to be made on 9/11, especially during the first 10 minutes.lowing wrote:

Decisions to be made during the first 10 minutes??!!......Nobody even knew what was happening during that time period let alone make any decisions about it. The one decision that was made expedientially was to land all airborne aircraft and they got all those planes down safely and in what, an hour? I was at ATL airport that day and it was locked down and as quiet as a ghost town within an hour or so after the attacks. Bush didn't have the gift of 20 20 hind sight like all of his critics on that day.Spearhead wrote:

If Bill Clinton was President with that 4th grade class during 9/11 he would have promptly gotten off of the little girl he was molesting and givin the command to call the cops on all people using airplanes to attack the big eleven thingy in New York.
I love it when people gripe about the soldiers. Walk in to Somalia, and now Iraq, have 8 to 10-year old kids shoot at you and see how you feel.
Did they shoot them? No. Where they shot at? I'm sure.
In Somalia, they used to have the kids shoot under their mom's skirts at the soldiers.
These kids are lucky they went home without a bullet in their head.
Give them one more boot in the balls from me and one for you guys who didn't serve and quickly judged.

From either Crawford or Little Rock, but he is very correct about second guessing soldier in a situation that would make most the people on this forum piss their pants.
Things get out of control with a rock throwing mob over there and you get dragged through the street behind a car until they cut off your head, burn you, and string you from a bridge.
And it can get to that point in a matter of seconds when you are out numbered like that. Has anyone here (making the anti-troop statements) ever had their head start swimming with uncontrollable fear at the realization that control of a situation has been lost and people around you are dying.
No doubt chief. So quick to judge. Little weird though with the person filming the video getting "in to" it a little too much but the film shows the insanity or working with a crowd that is many times uninformed of the benefit democratic countries provide.
Growing pain is all but it is costly. If I was the Iraq people who were brutally governed many times over the years, I would act out once that rule ended but my battles wouldn't be with those with rifles. Little backwards.
Battlefield 3 should be interesting, if and when...

This topic has been dead for a while now, and some clown decided to ding me a point and send me a nasty comment about it yesterday. I was disappointed to find that there was no corresponding post in the topic. Too bad that person doesn't have the courage to make his comments out in the open and risk a dinging himself. I stand by what I have said in this post. Will you stand by your anonymous comments?

You guys have a great board and idiots that ding people are like people that rip on people to cast light on themselves, not the point the group is discussing.
For every good person, regardless of the level of intellect they possess, there are 10-idiots running around. Luckily, they marry each more often than we marry them.

"Oh yeah, you're gonna get it! Naughty boys!"
British soldiers are badass! If only we gave our enemies spankings too...
