When you install SF Expansion, I was informed that you would get the second unlocks of any ranks beyond Sgt. Since you get only one in Normal, but two in Special Forces. Is that not the case? Is it the case? I'm thoroughly confused now.....

you gotta play a few rounds in SF for the unlocks to kick in after you restart the game.
You can get them without actually buying SF, if you have a friend who has SF just go round log in (on your account obviously) play a round and diconnect. relog and it'll give you all the extra unlocks your entitled to. then you can go back home with all your new guns without ever spending a penny
