i'm an assualt guy, i am best when i am leading a squad and taking flags but sometimes i just feel snipey for a while and will spend a round or an entire night just chilling on a hillside or roof and when i do it's like a sale at the mt. rushmore gift shop, 'all heads 50% off'

when i just feel like having some fun i snipe and i feel a little selfish

i *hate* playing anti-tank but have too alot when there is armor rolling around that no one seems to want to deal with

when i feel the call of duty it usually means playing anti-tank to take out armor

spec-ops is a toss up, i only play when i am close (or planning on getting close) to the enemy's assests and it is both fun and dutiful

so...what class do you guys play, other than your main, for fun and for duty?

*(by "hate" i mean that i find it slightly less enjoyable than the normal bf2 playing ecstasy)

I don't many people take AT as their first choice, its too circumstantial to use all the time. I personally hate it.

Snipers my first choice, I like a quick bit of medic whoring on Karkand but thats not often. I bum about on support if im MEC sometimes coz i like the RPK-74, I refuse the use a PKM coz it's like cheating sinse it got boosted

I've been playing medic a lot lately simply becuase of the fact that it had the most hours played already of all my classes from back when I was starting out, so I figured I'd go on with it and get my expert badge. The AK101 and the M16A2 have really grown on me, however, and even though I've got the G36E I still use the standards.
So I guess thats my class for duty.

For fun I'm going to have to go with Engineer. Whilst I don't have a great amount of time played on it, it's everything I love about anti-tank (read: Shotguns), but with grenades, which I use a lot. Support was fun for a while with the whole "omg sniper pkm pew pew pew" riot going on, but it just got boring. They're a lot of fun to kill though

Duty: AT. I'm most useful with this kit, and i feel most safe with it. You can deal everything with this kit.
Sniper, Engi and perhaps Assault (Falshbangs) for fun.

Duty: Whatever i happen to be playing at the time, though assault is my least favorite.

just ask my friends. I tend to adapt and overcome each kit and do some crazy crap. Like running out in front of 2 apc's and a tank to hop in the hj-8 and take em out, while a sniper mind you.

However, I can play all calss and if the need be, I am medic as a secondary profession.
Heal up and revive the team so the ticket drops slower.

duty: Sniper all the way, and once i get my internet back i will be support. I just found how fun and how goodof weapon the l85A1 is. so i think i will be medic whoreing on strike at karkand, and join the crowd.

Fun i like to blow the shit out of the enemey commanders assets

I play support for duty now-i used to play medic a lot but i have too many hours with it comparing to other classes so i have to give up medic for some time.
Just for fun- Sniper and engy (i like shotguns although they are rarely useful).

I don't know why you all hate AT- the DAO can be more useful than any other gun in CQC (and you have rockets for vehicles). Don't think that with AT you'll have to just stand and wait for some vehicle. Every AT kit's gun is good at some aspects except that shitty MP5 and type85.

I like the AT kit. In close quarters you're a killing machine with the DAO-12 and the rocket launcher is a multifunctional weapon:

-Sniper rifle
-Anti-tank
-Anti-light vehicles
-Anti-air (yes, with practice you can take out choppers like nothing else)

I used to love the Spec-ops kit, mainly for the G36c and the C4. Nowadays the G36c actually kinda sucks compared to the PKM, and the C4 is not nearly as useful anymore, so I hardly ever play Specops anymore.

Actually, I have a 'schedule' for which class I use on which map, depending on which side I'm on.
For example: on Sharqi on Mec, I'm always assault. Sharqi U.S., I'm always AT to take down that hellish Mec chopper and all the vodniks.
Karkand MEC: Support to do some PKM camping.
Karkand US: Medic
Wake US: Spec-ops
Wake PLA: Sniper

The only class I NEVER use is the engineer. I like the shotty, it's just rarely useful. Repair points are very hard to come by. I don't like armor whoring so there's really no reason to be engineer.
