Hi, I just had to do a reinstall with Windows and all my apps, games, etc. have to be reinstalled for them to run properly........ for BF2 is there any way to figure out my serial number through any of the files that remain? I'm not sure where my BF case with it is and once I over-install I guess I'm out of luck if I don't figure it out somehow..

The key is stored in the registry. However, it's hashed.. which means you won't be able to read it. You'll have to find your manual to get your key.

Call EA.. couldn't hurt to try and ask them for a new key or a way to find yours out. If all else fails, I guess try a key generator.
