My sister is only 7 yrs old and her birthday would've been 3/23 but on Tuesday 3/14 she had a brain hemmorahge. She was rushed to the hospital and was on a breathing tube the first night. The next day she was still on the tube but was conscious. The third day she was moving and could talk and eat but say very little, all those days they inserted a tube into her head to drain out the blood. In the recent days, she's gone delirious, but thats the way I want to put it. Let me tell you about her, swimmer, pianist, and straight A. And I mean straight As, I have never seen her come back home with anything less than a 100% and I swear that on my life. But to the point, I want to think its delirious because the only other option is retardation and I would rather die than see my sister go from what she was to this. Now, the damn doctors here JUST informed us that the surgeon they were going to hire was only for adults. But this guy, according to my dad who's a doctor like my mom as well, told my parents that he wasn't fit and recommended her to Philadelphia. As I am writing this she is being flown there and my parents are going to go there as well and I'm going to have to take care of my other sisters. I have been praying each day to go. I will admit, I am not the most religious person but all I can do is pray for my sister. So I'm asking all of you that are and non-religious to please pray for my sister because my family has gone through enough for a lifetime. Thank you.

i think what you're describing is a tenet of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), i should know since i dealt with a couple of minor incidences of it during my life. back to the topic though, i'll be praying for your sister tomorrow in church buddy, hoping for the best<{SoE}>Agamemnar wrote:

Thanks guys for your prayers and responses. She got moved to Hershey hospital instead for the surgery tomorrow, Monday. After the surgery it could either be good or bad. Right now I'm hoping for the best, and again, thank you for your thoughts.

Prayers out to your and your family. Hope your sister gets well, and makes a full and speedy recovery. Few things shake me, but whenever I hear of a young child suffering, it tugs at the strings.
The best of luck to your sister, you , and your family. A good friend of mine almost died from a brain hemorrhage two years ago, but he pulled through, and now every year we have a Life party for him on the anniversary of the surgery. Hopefully you'll be able to do the same for your sister!
