My squad and I are in a chopper, we get over a base and want to jump out. I bail out first and BAM the chopper kills me when I step out. What did I do, hit the skid on the way out? crap so I die and my teammate gets a team kill

Does anyone know how to avoid this? It sucks bigtime

Bring the chopper to a hover or moving slowly before jumping out and you shouldnt have this problem.
