Hes talking about the Commonwealth games

Those games include all the countries that one day or an other was under the England flag during his history.

here i got the medal standings link

http://www.melbourne2006.com.au/Schedul … lts/Medals

And by the way, Canada never been good at summer games, we are a northern country, we own at winter sports.

So if you look into the winter olympics that just ended.

Canada finished with 23 medals at the 3rd position.

Oh and your country that is doing soooooooooo good right now, finished we only 2 medals.\\

dont know if you realise we have F all snow?most aussies wouldnt even classify the winter olympics as sport as we have very little exposure to them.2 medals was a good effort for us.the 1 gold we got was an expat canadian.with indias population you would expect them to come good at sports.

I've been watching. Of course Australia is going to fucking win, most home nations do get a major boost and Australia's a big place with lots of athletes to chose from. Watched the Triathalon which was an awesome rival-nations finish. In the mens and womens Triathalon Australia and NZ scooped up all the medals with Aussie taking two golds and a bronze, while NZ settled for two silvers and a bronze. Awesome. Just ike to say that the two Aussies who got the golds really deserved them, I mean really deserved them. They were amazing.

So far we've got gold with 100m Mens Butterfly, (swimming,) and rugby sevens after Fiji underestimated the brits. Feeling good about cycling, (Sarah Ulmer won gold at Athens, altough so did Hamish Carter in the Triathalon and he finished fifth in Melbourne.)

Commonwelth games are awesome, because the competitions arn't so large so my little nation has a chance at getting a decent medal count.

Only 7 medals by the Aussies today, pretty disappointing.

Ghana one their first medal in the history of the commonwealth games, with a gold in the weightlifting.
He actually ran out of time to do his last lift, because the judges didnt tell him the clock was running down quite controversially, they protested the shit out of that, then if the pakastani(silver) had of completed his final lift he(Ghana) would have lost by 1kg.

Tyferra- netballers are looking like they will meet in the final. Expect to get smashing there son

Home nations always have a big advantage, among them a morale boost from competing on home turf with all the supporters from around the neighborhood. Come on, I doubt there are any Canadians in Melbourne right now, rooting for Canada.

Might want to update this BF2Craglyeye, especially after a pretty solid effort from the Kiwi's today, (A gold, A silver and two bronzes with a potential medal coming up tonight.) According to those in the know, NZ has had a crapy games, but I don't really care. Since I judge it on Olympic medal tally, which is very low for NZ, I think it's pretty good.

Done, and Done Tyf!

An absolute SMASHING, HAMMERING, ANNIHILATION.... ive run out of words to describe this demolition of fellow Commonwealth nations.

New Zealand have put a few on the board Tyf. You're in the top ten.

England have got there shit together.

India will also be pretty strong when they host it in 2010.

@tetrino lets test that theory, How many medals did Malaysia when at Kuala Lumpur??
