Euroforces only took me 19-20 minutes to download and it installed and played perfectly

13 hours? That really must be a 56k Line.... It took me exactly 10 Minutes to download that thing from EA Downloader.... and I am in Europe.... Ok, I have to admit, that I am on a 6 MBit ADSL Line.... I wonder, If I should upgrade to a 16 MBit ADSL2 line... would be only 10 Euro more per month
Bslapper is a NZer and we have massive problems with our broadband here. Telecom NZ who are almost a monopoly class 256k as "high speed broadband" many of us including myself have no alternative,BEE_Grim_Reaper wrote:

In april some plans are going to be upgraded to 3.5meg. But it sucks and our govt is refusing to do anything about it. - so in short i really dont think theboosters are going to sell very well in NZ. if they were on cd id buy them but when i have a 3gig traffic limit i dont think ill be investing in a big DL.

Well... I have some experience with NZ and AUS "broadband" connection.... and frankly, I do not envy you because they are really a pain in the buttvedds wrote:

if you get currupt messages you need to download it again, a guy had to download it three times vefore it would install.

I havent tried downloading it yet, well i cant until im home from uni lol but that really does suck for you. I didnt realise NZ had such a poor service, i feel for ya dude, i remember how frustrating 56K was, esp if something didnt work after a D/L
