OK I have most of the articles and the UBAR, and according to my stats I should get 1st Sergeant.  I received basic Knife about 12 hours ago and it was the last badge I needed.  But I have still not gotten the promotion.  Is there something I am missing?  20000+ points plus all the combat badges? Am I missing something or am I just not being patient enough?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My BF2 name is also OuchMySpleen.

You cant be promoted to First Sergeant from Master Sergeant, if you didnt have the required badges at 20,000 points then you will never be a First Sergeant.

three problems.

one.  this is not related to the website, hence it does not belong in bf2s.com help.

two.  once you are promoted to master sergeant you cannot be promoted to first sergeant.  you needed all those badges before getting 20000 points.

three.  please use the search from now on.  this has been answered numerous times.

Thanks for setting me straight.  Since this has been answered numerous times maybe someone should update the Ranks section of the UBAR. 

Of course NOOBS like myself to the forum should do a better job of searching.  I had searched for First Sergent.  2 problems where that it was too broad and I mispelled Sergeant.

Ok retract that too, don't know why I am such a retard.  I see under the UBAR that the Rank for 1st Sergeant must be Gunnery not Master, althought it is not entirely clear.
