I remember, I hope you do too.  Sitting in for hours playing Frogger, Pong, Excitebike, Super Mario, Zelda.....Remember BEATING Zelda for the first time?? Mike Tyson PunchOut(Mr Dream's PunchOut after the rape charge) We were NERDS. Everyone said it we believed it. We're nerds. But now, that the videogame industry has eclipsed Hollywood for annual profits and reached the Billion dollar a year mark.....ohhhhhhhh now its COOL to play games. Hell Let's make MOVIES out of the games.  Now the average gamer is between 19-35 in age. Its not the "toy" it once was. Very peculiar the way the world (or just my society in the states) changes. I am an OG (origional gamer)of gaming and anyone who threw NERD at us gamers back in the day......go hunting. Soak yourself in doe piss and sit in the woods freezing your ass off for 8 hours not knowing whether or not you'll even kill anything. Which sounds like a nerd now.

oh my god, excitebike.. that was helluva fun.. and what about that game which i forget the name that was on coleco vision, and was sort of the father of mario paint? and playing mario 1 on NES and going through all worlds without warping and loosing any lives

Hot Damn

And that tank game on atari i forget the names of most of those games.. memories Gee, I have NHL '95 here on SNES and i took a look at it the other day, my gosh, how far have we come. I thought those were super realistic games back then

People nowdays have it all with the nice graphics, and performance, and all that.. but we saw it growing up, forming, taking shape, and being in awe when 10Gb hard drives came out.. and 4x CD burners, and windows 95 hehe.

Battletank. I remember finally finding the red ring in Zelda. What a pain. I actually still have my 8-bit Nintendo with about 100 games. Alot of the booklets with them too. I worked at a movie rental place when the Nes was heading out and 64/playstation needed more room so I got alot of those for free.
