Sorry to bust your conspiracy theory but clothes tend to absorb most blood from wounds. It would be a bit over the top to include blood in the game just so that when someone gets headshot there's a sudden fuckload of gore.

hey all...

long time reader... new board member...


was just wondering if I was the only one who gets an error when I try to log into the account server?
says:

"The server has refused the connection."

i was playing a few hours ago.. then ate dinner.. and when I got back xFire had already downloaded the patch for me.. I installed it.. and now I'm not able to log in...



I'll keep trying.. and maybe check my firewalls.. *shrug*

US servers have NOT updated to 1.21 most no US server seem to have or are updating to it. If you are getting the refused to login then it's because your in the US and it isn't updated yet. The patch likely will not be on the us server for 5-12 hrs. and they will probably announce it in around the same time. (same as 1.2 the patch hit EA ftp about 12 hrs before it was installed and announced in the US.)

Anyway here are some places to get it other than bf2s. Remember download it, but wait to install it till you see your favorite servers have gone red.
EA ftp (this one is the ip of the ea ftp node i get. as the patch is not on all ea ftp nodes yet.)

I downloaded both the Incremental (13.9 MB) and the Full (357.64), but the size of the Full is not 357.5, but 156 MB! Is that a roger?

you probbly got a bad download trooper.

and falcone i should say most servers that are located in gmt-5 thru gmt -7 (usually get down around 4-8 am pst aka gmt-7) are not updated, but most that are in gmt to gmt +9 are updated or will be shortly.

What? So as a Sniper I could've placed more than 2 claymores? Now I can place 2, refill then place another 2 which would take the place of my previous 2 clays; or, if I refill I can keep spamming clays?

About the patch - it downloaded in less than a minute for me. Sweetness!

I have the same thing for each patch/expansion. I have to go into nortan internet security and add a "permit all" for bf2.exe internet connections.

Blue/red bug has not been totaly fixed after installing 1.21 update i landed and droped of some guys
3 enemys jumped in to my chopper and killed the guys i dropped off so i took off and rolled the chopper into the ground and got 3 kills and one suicide LOL

I am currently downloading the new patch from Fileplanet.  There are no queues if you subscribe, although it looks like everyone is downloading quickly anyway, so I'll just be quiet now, LOL

My brother is trying to do the same damn thing! He almost had it today(36 kills), and Comcast decides to take a shit.. I told him to hurry back to the server, and get that last kill. He said there were only like 10 tickets left.. He's not going to patch until he gets it.

mine works great, i think the sound is back now.   no more dying and not hearing where it came from or how it happened.
