Is SF going to be discontinued by EA? I hope there will be a 1.2 patch for SF so we can so like in vanilla game with claymores and mines... As far as I know things are just like in 1.12 for us SF players. We need attention, SF has algo bugs and stuff to fix!

- waiting for the SF patch?
All the new patches are for BF2, SF, and now EF(and subsequent boosters).
Yes, I know 1.21 will fix TOW crash-bug in SF too, but how come certain things are not the same in both games? I talk about AA accuracy (fixed in 1.2 for BF2), mines and claymores (no friendly kills in BF2) ....
I wonder why ...
I wonder why ...
the no-friendly claymore thing from the last patch was running on all my fav SF servers... it's changed back now because of all the whining. i was dropping claymores all over the place on warlord, and not a single teamkill. when i installed the last patch, it also went through a 'patching SF' phase, teh the patches affected SF as well.

I also got that "patching SF" phase during install, but.... My mines seemed to kill every single friendly vehicle in ghost town, I was almost banned from a server
Could have been the server option?..
So you think friendly mines and claymores dont kill teammates in SF after 1.2? I have seen all players ignoring friendly mines in BF2 but not in SF... I have also been punished for that, I hate tk punish, don't they have their eyes on the road while driving? Weird...
it's a server option. for example, i play on internode servers in australia (both vanilla and sf), and after 1.2 there was no-tk claymores on both. so, i had a lot of fun with that!

lolz - i wasn't even going for it! (note the whiner - i was totally owning that one guy, with mostly clamores alone!!! He was like a moth to a flame - no matter where i put them on the map, he would find them and set them off!! rofl)
i post it here not to set of the whining of the "waaaaaah you spammer" brigade, but to prove the point that SF was patched the same as vanilla bf2.
get this though: I laid two claymores at the beginning of a round the next day (same map, Warlord), and immediately got two TK's. I thought, wtf? did i accidently join a different server? I disconnected and went the internode forums and sure enough, there's a message saying that they have turned the mine tk back on due to massive whining (or something).
so there you go, server variable, and not one that comes up in the server info when loading a map because it is distinct from the general freindly fire option.
there are still some servers that have it off, so if you're interested, you just have to find them. personally, it doesn't bother me either way, and i stick to 'node regardless of what the server variables are.
oh- and AA accuracy was also fixed in SF i'm sure: i knock people out the sky far more often now. what experiences have you been having to suggest the opposite?

Seems to me as if the AA is worse now. Played Iron Gator tonight fired at a chopper and 4 missiles circled it a few times then flew off. Generally seemed to miss an awful lot more in general .
