I think its just the M95 or what Dice based the games version of the M95 on.
If it was'nt that and you squent your eyes it sort of looks like an overweight FN 7.62 (or on steroids!) but with an optical sight, a bi pod and a hollow stock. Now thats a cool gun!

There was a post about the M82a1 several weeks ago.
Someone had tweaked the code so that they could use it in single player. The gun is unfinished and doesn't perform well in its current state (low zoom, inaccurate, small damage).
I was hoping that EA was gonna forget about adding the L96A1 and just finish the M82a1. (just so we could have a good urban semi-auto gun instead of another M95 clone)
