Cool weblog.
Love the story underneath the sniperrifle picture
And did you see hordes of soldier running towards the Apache, all pressing 'E'?
Thanks man!
Hahaha. The sniper rifle was over 8 kilogrammes. It's cumbersome. It's probably only realistic to await in a prone, concealed position when taking aim. The scope is 4-16X magnification. 800m to 1000m headshots is possible according to the sniper instructor there. Of course, I tried to bunny hop when I picked it up! ooooh... ouch you mean! Heheh.
Oh yes, the Apache, F-15 and F-35, yeah, lots of people were TKing each other as they raced for the choppers and planes... Of course, the people who raced for the F-35 were most disappointed! That was a mockup! Hahahaha.
Like a lot of people in various countries, I did my national service in the infantry. I was in infantry about sixteen years ago and then I was in the reserves until about last year. I have played with assault rifles (M16A1, M203), the section automatic weapon (SAW or Ultimax 100) and was familiar with the FN MAG (GPMG). You can dive or roll. Hopping and aiming is an impossibility (though you can squeeze the trigger).
I will put up the door gun of the Super Puma transport chopper on the blog in a day or two. It's a huge massive belt-fed weapon. Single-barrel though.
And also images of the Hellfire ATGMs and Mavericks.
