Yet another satisfied customer of this fix!  I'm totally incredulous that it worked, but IT DID.

Radeon Mobility 9000.

I do not know about you all but my Radeon 9250 did not even play BF2 at all.  I would see the movies at the start of the game, then a black screen.  Did research and found out EA does not support 9250 PCI (I know laugh now) cards.

I have radeon 9550 in a SIS 648FX motherboard.
The graphics are terible. Too much lag.
I have decide to change video card but i'm not sure that the card is the problem.
Mabe its the board. I know many pc's with the same card and different board and they run the game in good performance.
Any suggestion? Card or board?

This works for ATI Radeon 9800's right? Because I'm experiencing some terrible lag when it comes to my GFX card trying to render rapid changing effects.

Hi...
I have a Radeon 9550 (although my computer thinks its a 9250) and when i load BF2, I watch the intro movie and then i hear the usual 'Welcome to duty', but then my screen blanks out on my and i am returned to desktop, with an ATI warning message saying something about the display. Any help please?
Thanks.
