Is it any good? From the videos I've seen it looks like an LRM/ERPPC fest and everyone seems to just camp behind cover.

yup, worked out as £35 or so and i've been waiting for a good MW since MW4, so more than happy to support it

NDA's been lifted. if i remember ill post some stuff over the weekend, but i'd expect a few reviews to crop up over the next few days.
even in it's beta state (and it is an actual working beta, not a BF3 style beta) it's a really, really good game.

It seemed to me like a game you can't play well with random pub-players, though.
With a good team and communication, you'd be unstoppable. Good fun could be had.

i've only played pugs so far and idk its a bit mixed. atm with it being closed beta, the people on there generally do try and form a plan of sorts and support each other - but yeah if you drop against a pre-made you normally get utterly wiped out (like you should in fairness)

this game is starting to get very good. unlike most betas, this actually is a beta. stuff change all the time, but get on ts with some dudes and it's probably the most balanced between tactical/alcohol and fun game i've played in a very long time. forewarning - it sucks dick if you're not all voiped up, the general playerbase probably struggles to get dressed without residential care in the mornings.

not my vid (it's a pretty dull montage) but it does show off how good the game can look. it is very demanding on your PEECEE though, but the last few patches have substantially increased performance.

The video above looks kind of goofy. It looks like they're playing manhunt with flashlights. Needs screen vibration or something.
