Anyone here enjoy watching anime, at least as a child? lol

tell us, what are your favorite shows

As a kid I watched Gundam Wing, One Piece, Dragonball Z and almost anything else Toonami would air lol.

I really enjoyed watching Gundam Wing as an adult. I couldn't believe how complex the characters and the story were. I only remembered as a child watching the fighting scenes and drooling.

I recently started watching One Piece and I got to say I love the english dubbed version. The story, the characters, it's just an overall good watch.

nerds, anyone?

My favs are Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop (series + movie), and most of Miyazaki. I haven't seen most of the series that hardcore fans would consider standard-must-watch.

Fuck yeah, Dragonball Z and Gundam Wing are awesome! Toonami was great.

I watch through DBZ every couple of years, and Gundam less often (It's pretty cringey).

But other than that (And the series 1-2 of Digimon that I watched) was it. I think that was on FoxKids, though.

Did you know they remade DBZ into a shorter (Cutting out the 3-episode long charge-ups), but slightly better looking series?

Oh and Akira is still in my top 10 favorite movies a good 10 years after I first saw it. I will still embarrassingly watch Cowboy Bebop if it is on. The last anime I was really into was Gun Grave. If you liked Cowboy Bebop you would like Gun Grave.

Quatre. The pilot of Heavy Arms, Trowa, is also pretty obliviously gay. They were not being subtle in the way those two characters interacted.

Out of all the pilots, Duo is the only one who was not obviously gay. He did dress as a priest though.

Bear with me here people my childhood memories are faint.

What is that anime show that had a character who was kind of like Batman in a way, and he had a big suit sort of like a gundam. I am pretty sure the whole show revolved around one city, I keep thinking it might have been underwater or water was somehow involved as well. Anyone who guesses gets krama for lyfe.
