I know you lot don't really care about me and my A-League tucked down here but I'd like your opinion on something.
Probably the highlight of a game full of absolutely awful calls which also saw an off-side goal being awarded and two on-side goals being disallowed, this bit of theatrics from Adelaide Reds player Jeronimo Neumann apparently was convincing enough to make the ref determine that this was a likely goal, (despite the keeper comfortably making the ball before Neumann,) and give Ben Sigmund, (the guy two or three steps behind Neumann,) a red card.
My question is whether this sort of embarrassing officiating would be tolerated in any other league. This was the same ref who oversaw last year's Grand Final and made another bass-aackwards call that decided the game.
